SPEAKER
The speaker of the poem is usually the one talking and may even be the poet expressing his ideas through the poem.
Example: In the poem "love is a place" by E.E. Cummings, he is the speaker.
The significance of knowing who is the one talking is important because it shows you the one who is expressing the ideas.
